Down to just Superstar (5/12/24). Way too many people on the one trail after 9:30 AM. Despite what so many claim, it shows there is a demand for the late season product. My odds for upcoming weeks:
- May 17-19: 95+%
- May 24-27: 80%
- May 31-June 2: 50%
- June 7 or later: less than10%
- Skinning after June 7: 100%

Sunday 5/12 was empty compared to saturday, skiing was great both days. I give it 100% chance of being open next 2 weekends and 80% for June 1st

The big issue is going to be the top. It is narrowing already and its going to break across. We'll see how much they pull up it every night.

I'm not a great bump skier. I mean, I manage, but I'm not crushing them all day at speed. How would I fare if I went on Friday 5/17?

Usually will have a path groomed for first thing in the AM. Bumps will build as day goes on but since it will be a Friday shouldn't happen too fast

I don't find skiing the groomed portion of superstar very enjoyable, there's too many meat missiles flying down a narrow path at the same time

Get there at the bell and you should be okay for an hour or two anyway. Honestly the crowds on the trail get far more annoying than the bumps will. Maybe not so bad on a Friday.

My youngest skied the 9 to 10:45 shift yesterday (the drizzle and his not so bump muscles in shape legs - he hadn't skied in over a month due to college stuff) and had fun. He was impressed the coverage... Granted he's 18 and thinks any snow that isn't brown is decent coverage...

Got him is day #40. Which got our family of 4 177 cumulative days this season. Not bad at all
