From Liftblog:
Founded in 1996, Partek was the successor to Borvig, which was run by Hagen's father Gary and closed 3 years earlier. They often refurbished and reinstalled older Borvigs with new technology, although they later shifted to new lift construction entirely. They were the last North American aerial ski lift manufacturer, and in their later years installed 1-2 lifts per year, mostly at smaller operations. This leaves Doppelmayr and Leitner-Poma/SkyTrac (Austrian and French-Italian, respectively) as the last new lift manufacturers in North America.
